.                ( لَا تَهَابِي )

لَا تَهَابِي أَيَّ هَوْلٍ فِي رِحَابِي!

       رَادِفِينِي، وَ احتَمِي خَلْفِي تُهَابِي

إنَّ عِشْقِي - حُلْوَتِي - أَبْدَى شَبَابِي

         زَمِّلِينِي فِي عَرِينِي المُسْتَطَابِ

لَا تُبَالِي نَابِحِينَاً مِنْ كِلَابِ

         كُلُّ مَنْ عَادَاكِ قَشٌ تَحتَ نَابِي!

كُلُّ مَنْ أَغْوَاكِ فَسْلٌ فِي التُرَابِ

         أنْتِ تَاجٌ فِي سَمَائي كالسَّحَابِ

لَسْتُ مَنْ أَمْدَحْ سِمَاتِي بِاْسْتِلَابِ

       إنَّ أهْلَ الحَيِّ فَزْعَى فِي غِيَابِي!

يَا غَرَامَاً ظَنَّ عِشْقِي مِنْ سَرَابِ

       تَنْشُقِينَ الحُبَّ دَوْمَاً مِنْ جَوَابِي!

فَاْهْدَئِي وَامْضِي مَعِي وَسْطَ الضَّبَابِ

          نَابِضِينِي طَقْسَ حُبٍّ لَا عَذَابِ

(Fear not)

Fear not any terror in my presence!

Ride me, and take refuge behind me, fear not

For my love, my sweet, has revived my youth

Wrap me in my delightful lair

Pay no heed to the barking dogs

All who oppose you are but straw beneath my fangs!

Everyone who seduced you is a coward in the dust

You are a crown in my sky, like the clouds

I am not one to praise my qualities with falsehood

Indeed, the people of the neighborhood are terrified in my absence!

O love that thought my passion was a mirage

You always breathe love from my answer!

So be calm and come with me amidst the fog

Pulse me with the ritual of love, not torment
